Primary Program Tuition and Admissions
Full-time tuition for 8:30am – 6:00pm five days/week is $23,940. Part-time tuition for Monday, Wednesday, Friday is $14,364. Part-time tuition for Tuesday and Thursday is $9,576.
For the 2019-2020 school year, ToTH Montessori is in session between August 5, 2019 and July 3, 2020, offering a total of 196 instructional days (at least 3 weeks longer than DCPS and many other Montessori programs). There are no additional materials fees, children bring their own lunches, and families rotate snack.
Early Pickup Rebate. Extended Day is included in tuition, and begins at 3:15pm. Families who do not wish to use Extended Day and prefer to pick their child up at 3:15pm may request a tuition rebate up to $1,600 for a full-time student for the whole year. (The rebate can be prorated for part-time students, and on a monthly basis.)
Tuition Assistance. We accept OSSE vouchers, and matching tuition assistance is available. To apply for financial assistance or to learn more, please visit our tuition assistance program page, and contact our Scholarship Chair, Joy Wilder, at email@example.com.
Primary Program Admissions in 2019-20
Early Admissions: Applications are due on February 1, 2019 to be considered during early admissions for the 2019-2020 school year. We prioritize a balanced ratio for gender and age and we give preference to returning and alumni families who apply by February 1st. Offers will be sent on or before February 15, 2018 and a non-refundable deposit of 10% of tuition will be required by February 25, 2018 (or within 10 days of receipt of an offer) to guarantee space in the program. Any families who do not pay the 10% deposit by offer deadline can request to remain on our active waitlist.
Rolling Admissions. We accept applications on a rolling basis all year for families who do not participate in early admissions. We fill spaces as they become available and we continue to prioritize age and gender balance. Due to many Capitol Hill families’ participation in the DC Public Schools lottery, we will maintain a wait-list throughout the spring and summer. Families are encouraged to stay in touch with our Admissions Director (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss prospects for admission.
Submit your child’s application. To apply for our 2019-2020 Primary Program, please submit an online application.
